Lodging Recommendations
We recommend staying in north Brooklyn (Williamsburg) on Friday and Saturday nights. This will be a short (10-15 min) taxi or rideshare from both the venue and Friday night dinner. It is also easily accessible by subway (the L) to Friday night dinner.

These hotels are all within a 3 min walk of each other in a lively area of Williamsburg Brooklyn. This area is accessible to both Roberta’s and The Foundry.
Arlo Williamsburg, 96 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn NY, 11249 (718) 362-8100
The Hoxton, 94 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY, 11249; (718) 215-7100 (code HITCHED824 for 15% off)

We recognize these options are expensive - there are also several more affordable options in Long Island City, close to the venue.
If you’d like to stay in Manhattan, there are several options on the east side near the Queensboro or Williamsburg bridges that are a quick drive or subway ride to the venue and the Friday night dinner.
If you are finding it challenging to find lodging within your budget constraints - please let us know. We may be able to find friends with available apartments or help identify some creative options.

If you’re coming for additional nights, we’re happy to provide recommendations on where to stay depending on what you’re hoping to see or do while in NYC. If you would like to stay in our neighborhood (the Upper West Side) our parents recommend:
The Arthouse Hotel, 2178 Broadway, New York, New York, 10024; (212) 362-1100
Getting to New York City
If you’re staying in north Brooklyn, LaGuardia and JFK will be better options than Newark.
From the airport, you can take public transportation, a cab, or rideshare to your hotel. We do not recommend renting a car.

Getting Around New York City
We recommend walking, taking the subway, and using Citibike as primary forms of transportation. The subway now accepts any contactless payment (Apple Pay, tap-able credit cards) so there is no need to buy a subway card.
We recommend downloading and using the following apps to get around:
